A straightforward approach to interpreting the Bible

My Dad has been discipled by Walt Henrichsen for the past 27 years, and – as they say – the proof is in the results. I’ve watched my Dad become a new man in Christ, living with passion a life of obedience to his Lord. It was my Dad’s example that drew me to Walt – and ultimately to a proper pursuit of Christ in my own life. Walt isn’t a mainstream Christian author. His words are generally few, but intensely focused. He is never about becoming Biblically smart, but Biblically obedient! The point of the Scriptures is not knowledge alone… but knowledge leading to application. I think of I Corinthians 11:1 as I look to my Dad and then to Walt — the verse tells us “Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.” Walt’s works are worth reading, and his life worth imitating!
