After a stint in the Marine Corps and a successful career in construction, Charlie Sharpe grudgingly decided to become an insurance agent in the early 6(Ys. Soon he had an idea that would revolutionize the industry
and provide outstanding service to policyholders. To implement this new concept, Sharpe became the president and founder of Ozark National Life Insurance Company, which provides outstanding products and quality service to hundreds of thousands of satisfied policyholders.
In recent years, Sharpe had a prfound and transforming expefience with God. Subsequently, he founded the Heartland community in north-eastern Missouri to provide spiritual care and job opportunities for those who have lost hope and for anyone else who wants to experience a loving community of believers.
Today, Charlie and his wife Laurie remain active in the business of Ozark National Life, even as they
shepherd the church, school. dairy operation, and Recovery Center at Heartland.
