This is an excellent work which clearly expresses the message of the Christian Gospel. It is based on a book originally written in the 17th century by the Puritan preacher, Richard Baxter, entitled ‘A call to the unconverted.’ John Blanchard has simply taken that older work and revamped it, putting into a more modern language, which is more accessible for us today.
Baxter’s work is chiefly based on Ezekiel 33:11, from the Old Testament in the Bible. This work is a brilliant explanation of the Gospel. Readers are left in no doubt of God’s way of salvation, and of what God has done for men and women through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Objections to the message are dealt with, and the reader will be left in no doubt as to the outcome of rejecting God’s offer of salvation.
Very simple to read, you can almost sense the passion and the urgency that the author must have had when he originally wrote it. This book will answer many questions and clear up many misconceptions.

John Blanchard (1932-2021) wasan internationally known Christian preacher, teacher, apologist and author. He was the author of thirty books.
