It is essential for the successful living of the Christian life and for the peace and happiness and joy of the individual Christian, and also for the prosperity of the Church in general.” This volume is the seventh in a series of eight volumes.

A truly excellent book by David Martyn Lloyd Jones. It has the companion book of Christian Warfare which is the first in the 2 part sermon series presented in these books. They explain so much that isn’t taught from pulpits now and it is necessary reading to truly understand these passages of Scripture. My recommendation… buy them both and keep them handy in your core library.
