Samuel M. Silver, spiritual leader of Temple Sinai, in Stamford, Connecticut, is a widely published writer and columnist. Leader of the ecumenical movement known as the Temple of Understanding, Rabbi Silver has also served as National Chaplain of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States and as President of the Association of Jewish Chaplains of the Armed Forces. He appears regularly on a radio program, The Reverend, the Priest, and the Rabbi on Stamford’s WSTC.
