Baker Reference Library offers the finest of evangelical scholarship to both scholars and laypeople. Each of the contributions is easy to understand and easy to use (thanks to their one-volume format). These volumes serve as ideal home reference books for laity, handy resources for pastors and church leaders, and reliable supplemental texts for courses in Christian colleges and seminaries.

The analysis is, write the editors in a lengthy, explanatory appendix that should be of interest to all scholars and serious students of Greek, “bôth traditional and innovative, both transparent and opaque.” It takes into account more than morphological considerations, considering both sentence-level and discourselevel information as well. “This volume reflects discourse principles,” write the editors, “especially in its analysis of conjunctions and particles.
The Greek text in this edition is that of. the most recent editions of the United Bible Societies’ Greek New Testament (3d ed.) and the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graecë (26th ed.). In other words, it is the critical text used almost universally today.
